Entamoeba can cause dysentery and liver abscess. Common viral diseases spread by cockroaches are Rota Virus and Hepatitis A Virus. RotaVirus is the leading cause of severe diarrhoea in young children. Hepatitis A causes acute Hepatitis and Jaundice. Therefore, pest control is necessary for prevention of these harmful diseases.
